Serra degli Alimini 1 was the first timeshare-devised residence in Italy.
Serra degli Alimini 1 started operating on 1st June 1977 and has recently celebrated its first twenty-five years of tourism.

At the beginning of the 1970's a tourist area was created in the territory of the Alimini lakes in Otranto thanks to the work of the ISUD group of Rome, aimed at enticing and leading the Salentino tourist market.
This is exactly what happened.

An element characterising the village since its beginnings has been its administration, performed in a knowledgeable and highly professional way by Mr.Raffaele De Santis. He has guaranteed the village success thanks to the professional way in which he has created and helped Serra degli Alimini 1 to grow.
